The purpose of this page is to enlighten you on the kind of data we may collect while you use our application and what we do with them. Please read the following carefully and decide whether to use our application or not. Using the application means you agree and comply with our privacy policies.

Personal Data we may collect

• Phone Numbers - Lenon may require phone numbers when registering parents on the platform. This is mainly required to login to the parent app, aside that, school administrators may prefer to send notifications to parents through SMS.
• Emails - During registration, Lenon requires that a user provide a valid email, this is mainly required to verify a user's authenticity. We also do send important notifications as and when required.
• DoB - This information is associated with students, this is required by most schools for the purposes of student information management.
• Location - This information has three uses within the Lenon app:
  1. Lenon has a feature available to schools on the staff management module. They register attendance locations where staff members can record attendance, this prevents situations where a staff member would mark themselves as present, although they are not in school. Registering attendance location requires the device's current location.
  2. When staff members record their attendance, the device's location is required to compare with the attendance location set by the school.
  3. Drivers for schools using the transportation module are required to constantly broadcast their current location during a trip to parents in realtime, this is a feature that allows parents to monitor bus location on a map while their ward is boarded.
